(1) Machinability, good grindability. Machinability and abrasiveness are better than SKD11, so the service life of processing tools is longer and the number of processing man-hours is less.
(2) The advantage in heat treatment is that the quench hardening energy is higher than that of SKD11, so it can improve the defect of insufficient hardness during vacuum heat treatment.
(3) The advantage of on-line cutting processing is that high-temperature tempering can reduce residual stress and eliminate residual austenitic iron, which can prevent wire cutting from cracking and deformation.
(4) Advantages in surface hardening treatment, the surface hardness after surface hardening treatment is higher than that of SKD11, so the performance of the mold can be improved.
(5) The advantage of repair welding is that the preheating and post-heating temperatures are lower than those of SKD11, so repair welding is easier. Features: General cold work die steel, high hardness and high toughness.
