AISI 1572 is a type of high manganese spring steel, is characterized by high elastic limit, yield strength and fatigue strength, with large hardenability and small decarbonization tendency. It has good machinability and relative machinability of 70% in the annealing state, but it is sensitive to overheating, easy to produce quenching cracks and temper brittleness. AISI/ASTM 1566 is used for making large flat spring, cushion spring and spring, and it is also suitable for making spring ring, valve spring, clutch spring, brake spring cold drawn wire (≤7mm), cold coil spring, etc. It is also the main material for making a diamond circular saw blade.

SAE 52100 Bearing Round Steel Bar is representative of the high carbon chromium bearing steel type. It can also be called ISO 100Cr6 steel and national standard GCr15 steel. After tempering, the hardness is high and uniform. Its wear resistance and fatigue strength are high, and it has good comprehensive properties. And also has excellent hot workability. After spheroidizing annealing, it has good workability, but flakes are easily obtained. It is used to manufacture steel balls, bushes, traveling wheels, etc. 52100 alloy steel has low alloy content and high hardenability.

ASTM Grade 5140 is a structural alloy steel grade for general applications in the ASTM A29 standard. 5140 steel plate is widely used for low and medium stress parts of vehicles, engines and machines that require hard wear surfaces. ASTM 5140 alloy steel is a structural alloyed carbon steel accding to AISI/ASTM standard which is widely used in Low and moderately stressed parts for vehicles, engines and machines where hard, wear resisting surface is needed. The hardness as surface hardened is about 54 HRC.

SACM645 steel is defined as Cr-M0-Al Nitriding steel as per JIS G4053 Standard.It has excellent wear resistance,high surface hardness and fatigue strength after nitriding.This material is generally supplied in annealed condition.SACM645 is usually used for high precision machine parts,typical use are cylinder lining, compressor parts,and hydraulic parts.

AISI 8620 Steel is a low alloy nickel, chromium, molybdenum case hardening steel, generally supplied in the as rolled condition with a maximum hardness max HB 255. It is commonly supplied in 8620 round bar.
It is flexible during hardening treatments, thus enabling improvement of case/core properties. Pre hardened and tempered (uncarburized) 8620 can be further surface hardened by nitriding. However, it will not respond satisfactorily to flame or induction hardening due to its low carbon content.

This alloy is a medium-carbon steel with chromium and molybdenum added as strengtheners. It is capable of being heat treated to good strength levels whilst maintaining reasonable toughness.
This alloy steel is used for applications as diverse as bending dies and die holders, together with forged gears, flanges, collets, arbors, spindles, axles, clutch parts, forming rolls and various machine tool components.

ASTM A756 specification covers the requirements for chromium-carbon bearing quality stainless steel to be used in the manufacture of anti-friction bearings. Grade 440C is a type of Martensitic stainless steel containing 16-18% Cr. It provides strong rust resistance, high temperature resistance and dimensional stability, can be used as corrosion resistant high temperature bearing steel.
