ASTM A335-P11 Seamless Steel Tube (ASME S/A335, Chromium-Molybdenum) is a seamless ferritic alloy steel tube for high temperature applications. Piping ordered in accordance with this specification shall be suitable for bending, flanging (vaporization) and similar forming operations, as well as fusion welding. Sometimes referred to as "Class P", chromium-molybdenum tubes are popular in class P P5, P9, P11, P22, and P91. Classes P11, P22 and P91 are most commonly used in the power industry and petrochemical plants, while classes P5 and P9 are commonly used in refineries.
