Products Description
The 200 series of stainless steel tubes is a family of austenitic stainless steel grades that contain low amounts of nickel and manganese. They are characterized by their excellent formability, high ductility, and good corrosion resistance in low corrosive environments. The most commonly used grades in this series include 201, 202, and 204. These grades are often used in applications such as food processing, household appliances, decorative trim, and automotive components. They offer good mechanical properties and can be easily welded, making them a cost-effective alternative to higher nickel-containing stainless steel grades. However, the 200 series of stainless steel tubes are not suitable for use in harsh corrosive environments.
